Event Guidelines
Responsibilities for organizers and attendees of community events posted on Localyn.

This document applies to Localyn, operated by Localyn LLC. Account creation is open to eligible adults age 18 or older in the states Localyn supports — not nationwide. Policies may be updated as Localyn changes.
Localyn provides a platform for organizers
Localyn helps community members discover and share local events. Unless an event is explicitly identified as a Localyn-sponsored event, Localyn does not organize, supervise, inspect, certify, guarantee, or endorse individual events.
Attendance is at each participant’s own discretion. Members remain responsible for deciding whether an event is right for them.
Organizer responsibilities
Event organizers are responsible for event accuracy, permission, permits, safety, accessibility, insurance, cancellations, and legal compliance.
Update material changes or cancellations promptly. Do not use location details to create misleading safety assurances.
Moderation and removals
Localyn may remove unsafe, deceptive, unlawful, canceled, or inappropriate events. Localyn cannot review every event before publication and does not guarantee event quality, attendance, legality, or organizer conduct.
Location information on events is not a safety guarantee.
